Styrian Erzberg, Styria, Austria
Size Range:
Cabinet (10-18 cm)
Size:
14 × 8 × 8 cm
Description

Flos ferri it THE austrian mineral. The worlds best specimens were found at the Styrian Erzberg. But that happened long ago, since they're blasting at the mountain most specimens are crushed. So it's not easy to get good specimens. This one is something special, because most pieces don't have a matrix. It also shows some very bizarre formed "fingers" that are almost terminated. The specimen can be displayed in both ways you can see at the photos and is a real eyecatcher.
