Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Brown's Prospect, Rum Jungle, Coomalie Shire, Northern Territory, Australia
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
5.5 × 4 × 3.4 cm
Description

Contrasts of diffrerent greens of the malachite with cream coloured cerussite and yellow pyromorphite make this a very aesthetic specimen that can be displayed in a variety of positions.

The malachite is in a  banded velvety cauliflower like form around crudely crystallised cerussite crystals. Yellowish pyromorphite forms a dust like crust on the malachite. Classic old Rum Jungle material from the 1970s finds.
