Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Dome Rock Copper Mine, Boolcoomatta Reserve, Olary Province, South Australia, Australia
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
5.5 × 2.9 × 0.3 cm
Description

A thin plate of matrix displaying micro crystals of metazeunerite (ID confirmed) with sprays of pink erythrite which occurs on both sides of the specimen. There is also some minor lavendulan and cobaltaustinite in association, making this quite a mineralogically interesting locality specimen.

This old mine is now a reserve and partly rehabilitated, making future specimen recovery seem unlikely.
