Apatite

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Panasqueira Mines, Covilhã, Castelo Branco District, Portugal
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
4.5 × 2.5 × 1 cm
Description

A bizarre form apatite crystal from the famous mine! The crystal is flattened and it's not damaged, this is just its form. It's super gemmy and glassy, and it has only two contact areas, the rest seems to be terminated! The tiny ding is not a detraction and the overall piece looks great! A different piece for the locality!
