Description

Molybdenite is one of the rarest minerals found at the Kipushi Mine. When we found such a specimen in the collection of Achiel Moors we decided to analyse it because it was hard to believe but… Surprise!, it was right labelled.

This specimen features a dark grey dull mass of molybdenite with lustrous masses of bornite with a blue tint. A hard to find specimen. A copy of the RAMAN analysis will be supplied with the specimen.

Ex. A.Moors, a Belgian colonist in the D.R.Congo from 1957 to 1972.
