Description

A fairly nice size specimen from a super locality (Slaughter Mountain, Arizona), featuring an uncommon raw and uncut sample of fire agate of good size with curved botryoidal layers of brown colour, partially covered by glassy to white opal hyalite showing an intense green fluorescence under short waves.

The specimen is from the Gerard Vogel collection and it was acquired in Tucson in 1984.
