Yellow sharp crystals of the very rare mineral hidalgoite from Tsumeb, covering a quartz crystal.

Hidalgoite was labeled as RRR in Tsumeb II Gebhard book (Extremely Rare, single occurrence with less than 10 specimens), so it is a real rarity from the locality. From this book we know that "Although small, they [hidalgoite crystals from Tsumeb] represent the best of the species, since hidalgoite crystals are virtually unknown" (p.287).

Ex-Cureton Mineral Co. specimen with label included (see photo).
