Description

Fantastic Elmwood specimen. A huge fluorite crystal of 6.7 cm (north to south) with stepped growth patterns sits on a group of very glossy, dark brown sphalerite crystals. The fluorite shows just very minor edge wear, the rest is completely undamaged. The back was attached to the rock, but 95% is already in astate of re-crystallization. So it broke off 'naturally' a while ago. You could call it a 'floater' now. Just a bit on the back of the fluorite looks freshly damaged - irrelevant to the front view.

The color of the fluorite is much better in nature - as well as the luster of the sphalerite crystals.
