As far as we know we're the only mineral dealers and collectors in an ancient mining building on top of a famous locality - with our own little holiday apartment. The Dr. Geier mine in Waldalgesheim is well-known for its great Rhodochrosites and other Manganese Ore specimens. The buildings were a landmark and the outstanding architecture resembles a castle rather than mining buildings. It is a part of the "Route der Industriekultur Rhein-Main" (Rhine-Main Industrial Heritage Route) - part of the EU Sustainable and Accessible Urban Landscapes project - and the UNESCO "Welterbe Kulturlandschaft Oberes Mittelrheintal" (World Heritage Cultural Landscape Upper Middle Rhine Valley).
