Cerussite & Wulfenite

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Nakhlak Mine, Anarak District, Nain County, Isfahan Province, Iran
Class:
Crystals on Matrix
Size Range:
Small cabinet (7-10 cm)
Size:
7 × 5 × 4 cm
Description

This is one of the few specimens with abundant and well-crystallized wulfenite on cerussite. The specimen is crystallized all around; the cerussite is partly formed as typical sixlings. Orange wulfenite crystals can be found almost everywhere, forming a nice contrast. Such pieces have always been rare, but they will become even rarer in the future. The local collectors have changed their working methods to make faster progress. However, many steps are damaged in the process. Let's see if this changes again in the future.
