Description

A marvelous fluorite octahedron with purple phantoms from Surprise Mine, Luna County, New Mexico, USA. It displays a well shaped octahedral crystal of 23mm. It is translucent to transparent, with splendid dark purple phantoms and lighter purple areas. At the tips grow a second generation of colorless fluorite crystals, giving a cool contrast. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
