Description

A lustrous specimen of the Sikhote-Alin Meteorite, a “IIAB iron meteorite” type, that fell on February 12th 1947 in the region of Eastern Siberia that gives it the name: Sikhote-Alin. According to Axon et al., (1981), this meteorite contains many rare minerals, such as: Brezinaite, Carlsbergite, Cohenite, Haxonite, Schreibersite and Wüstite. It is a complete meteorite, free of damages, uncut and unsawn.
