Description

A thick aggregate composed of alternated layers of chrysocolla of intense blue colour and glassy aspect, on matrix, with interpenetrated layers of green malachite.

Collected before 1960, the specimen is from the stock of Robert Verdoodt, who was working in the laboratories of Union Minière du Haut-Katanga and evacuated to Belgium in 1960.
