Description

Bright tabular azurite with the characteristic deep blue colour and an area with malachite, where it was attached to the matrix. The crystal is quite isolated and aerial. It is almost a floater piece with good lustre and striated faces.

An aesthetic piece from Willy Israel, a well-known Belgian collector of Tsumeb minerals who bought it in Tsumeb in 1978.
