Red quartz crystals (variety Jacinto de Compostela), lustrous, doubly terminated, imbedded in a red gypsum matrix corresponding to the Keuper facies (Triassic).

Rare locality, self-collected in 1993 at a small outcrop near the road, at Riba de Santiuste (Guadalajara).
