Description

This is an uncommon specimen featuring a complete alteration paragenesis from the classic mine of Likasi. This heavy specimen, that surpass 600g, is an arborescent growth of native copper core with the  transition alteration to red partially crystallized cuprite, black glassy tenorite and light blue chrysocolla and green malachite.

Collected at the Likasi Mine by René Virlet, a Belgian colonist in Congo who travel back definitively to Belgium in 1968.
