Description

Sharp lustrous pseudo-octahedral, dark green gemmy crystals of libethenite on a pseudomalachite crust, from a very uncommon locality in Congo that was collected by Achiel Moors, a Belgian colonist in the D.R.Congo from 1957 to 1972.

This piece is part of a big piece ( specimen #17496) that is now exposed in the Royal Museum for Central Africa in Tervuren, Brussels (Belgium), and it is featured in page 66 of the new book “Minerals”, ISBN 978-9-4926-6951-3.
