Description

This specimen, from my collection of pseudomorphs, is a scarce hard to find and attractive oldy from M'sesa. It is group of euhedral cuprite crystals, with one evidently dominant, that have been replaced by blue plancheite, and are surrounded by light blue chrysocolla patches. The original cuprite crystals were rhombic dodecahedrons, with some corners modified by triangular faces of the octahedron. The specimen is a floater and it is in pristine condition, no damages!.

It was collected before 1968 by Martíal Borzee, a Belgian colonist to Congo.

Ex. Martíal Borzee. Ex. Iván Blanco specimen.
