Description

A rare specimen from the Kamoto mine with two dull bornite crystals overgrowing chalcopyrite crystals, on white calcite matrix. They are a true perimorph, cause both minerals are still present. Highly sought-after specimen for D.R.Congo collectors.

Acquired in 1996, it is the specimen #50 of Dr. Bob Janssens (BE) collection.
