Description

Well-formed, floater cluster of parallelly grown gypsum crystals that form an excellent example of a “bow-tie” growth, where the crystals get wider to the ends. The monoclinic development is clearly recognized and the general condition is very good, without damages. Old piece of light-brown colour due to inclusion of desert sand.

Acquired in 30/6/1985 to Jo Tavernier. Ex Gustaaf collection #586, with his handwritten label.
