Description

Old, gemmy, well-defined prismatic crystal of aquamarine from Minas Gerais. It is an enhydro beryl with at least one big mobile bubble located at the central part. The faces of the prism show abundant etching at the base but turn smooth to the top, where the crystal is transparent and has a good light blue colour. Ex Dr. Ernst Burke* (Ernstburkeite) collection.
