Description

Big size specimen featuring black euhedral crystals of chloritoid of a pseudohexagonal aspect, included in the slate matrix of Ordovician age. We cleaved many rocks and not many good specimens such as this were found. The crystals are well exposed, and are associated to black prismatic staurolite and red rounded garnets.

This has been in my collection since I collected in a field trip in May/1996.
