Description

This is a good representative specimen containing rare larnite from the type locality. It is produced at the contact of a dolerite intrusion with the very pure limestone of the Antrim Plateau in conjunction with the associated flint nodules. Wollastonite is also formed during this metamorphosis and fluoresces an orange colour.
