Description

This is an excellent sample for Strickbblende (knitted Galenite and Sphalerite/Wurtzite) from the classic Schmalgraf Mine, La Calamine, Belgium, famous for such very special specimens.

This wonderful, on one side polished slice shows an exremely high luster and a stunning structure. Rarely available in this outstanding quality on the mineral market! One of the best pieces I've ever seen.

Mined in the early 19th century, Ex-Wotuba collection, RWTH Aachen, Germany
