Description

A quite impressive and large old timer pre 1940s from Tsumeb from the K. Olf collection: a matrix consisting of smithsonite with shell like layers and in part nice greenish colour is covered by brownish and greenish secondary minerals. Numerous yellow-brownish prismatic mimetites are scattered all over the specimen on both front and backside. Although there are parts with missing crystals the specimen exhibits some very nice areas - one could even think about splitting the specimen up and trimming to several good miniatures. 1.69 kg.
