I am a mineralogist based in Mainz, Germany, and an avid collector of minerals for more than 40 years now. My collection focus changed during the years from regional collecting to aesthetic minerals worldwide.
My favourites are Tourmaline , Fluorite and Pyromorphite but also all kind of Garnets , Beryl and colorful lead, copper and other base metal secondary minerals are on the list. As there is always a lot of change in my collection i can offer specimens from systematic to aesthetic and from thumbnail to museum size.
Since a few years i am custodian for the Palatina Mining Museum (Pfälzisches Bergbaumuseum) in Imsbach, Germany. My main duty there is to take care of the mineral exhibition "terra crystallum" which is my core collection given on loan for the museum.
