Description

Copper from the Urals is rarely available, and this old timer specimens originates from one of the classic old mining regions, mined as far back as the 1700s. The label assigns it to Bogoslovsk - it is one of two specimens residing i a box in a forgotten drawer at Krantz in Bonn. I think the label was reused as generic as the lime which is described on it is not present, only some whitish matrix in between the nicely crystallized copper aggregate. A fine old specimen from the end of 19th/beginning of 20th century.
