Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee, United States of America
Size Range:
Small cabinet (7-10 cm)
Size:
7.5 × 6.2 × 3 cm
Description

Nice and interesting combo specimen from this famous locale: whitish barite crystal aggregates are grown over brownish sphalerite and accompanied by purplish blue stepped fluorite crystals.

The translucent fluorite crystals are rehealed and partly show a kind of skeletal growth probably due to dissolution and recrystallization processes.

Nice one.
