Description

A very nice and showy classic from Sicily: well developed whitish celestite crystals settle together with crystallized native sulphur on matrix. Only minimum damage, a very good one which is labelled by Dr. A (!). Krantz as being from Caltanissetta.

It is more probable that this beauty originates from the Racalmuto mine, Agrigento.

Dr. August Krantz (1809-1872) labels are rarer than the Dr. F. Krantz labels. This label dates from the period between between 1850 and 1888.
