Description

Here we have an outstanding example of this rare mineral meionite which is a member of the scapolite group. The well defined crystal faces exhibit a fine resinous to pearly lustre and is almost colorless to white-grey. Mount Somma in Italy is also the typ locality of the mineral. It comes in this super desirable looking capsula and is mounted on a wine cork.
