Description

This is Microderoceras, which is a flat sided, evolute, radially ribbed Lower Jurassic ammonite belonging to the ammonitid family Eoderoceratidae. The specimen is from lower Lias (Jurassic age), between Hettangian and Toarcian, so about 196,5 to 175,6 million of years old.
