Description

Great Austrian classic - first some locality information: the old shafts and mines are collapsed since WW2. There was only one entrance left and during decades field collectors tried to find samples in a very small area of the old tunnels. After a deadly accident field-collecting became prohibited and about 8 years ago and rock avalanche destroyed this last entrance to the old mines. So there is absolutely NO chance at all, that new material will ever be discovred, this locality is closed forever! Crystal like on this piece - this sharpness, this dimension and even with exceptional luster are an out-standing rarity! Sunk produced the very best dolomites ever discovered in Austria and even world-wide they are on a very high level. And this is really not just a sample - it is a mayor piece in excellent quality, remarkable dimension and superb condition!
