Classic Locality

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Uranium Mine #21, Háje, Příbram, Central Bohemian Region, Czech Republic
Class:
Crystals on Matrix
Size Range:
Cabinet (10-18 cm)
Size:
10.4 × 8 × 7.6 cm
Description

Mined in vein H14F, Level 7, U-Mine 21 in 1984 - the probably mosr relevant discovery of this material! And this particular piece is really a mayor-piece! The dyscrasite is partly covered with silver (a pseudomorph cast if silver after dyscrasite). It developed as huge aggregate - the upper half even free-standing on light matrix. The former owner acquired the piece in the eraly 80ties for 2850,-- DM - which is a value of about 1400 Euro. Material in this size and quality becomes more and more rare during the years and even local collectors and sellers don´t offer material at this high level. No significant damages to report, very aesthetic and very showy all around!
