Description

Lake Rieding is a completely other locality than summit cleft - summit cleft is in the south slope below peak elevation and produced stepped violet crystals. Lake Rieding is 600 meters below on the other side of the mountain and produced completyl different fluorites. Most are from discoveries in the 70ties and 80ties of the last century. The fluorites are usually sharp terminated cubes and they are light green. This particular specimen shows the typical sharp cubic crystals in the typical green color. They are up to 18mm on edges and the main crystals are very exposed and set on small dolomite matrix. A nice sample from this old finds.
