Rare Mineral

Description Tabs

Description

Schwemmhoisl Quarry, Warnblick, Koralpe, Styria, Austria
Class:
Single Crystal
Size Range:
Small cabinet (7-10 cm)
Size:
7.3 × 6.1 × 1.9 cm
Description

This is very rare material from a discovery about 2 years ago. Look at the dimension! This is an 73mm tall titanite crystal. And with sharp termination and really fine luster! The lighter areas show a yellow-beige color, the darker zone tend moe to olive green, overall - color and luster are better in person. The specimen is develoepd as floater and should be high ranked for the rare locality (defunct since decades before this new project which only produced a fist full of good pieces) and for the remarkable, spectacular dimension!
