Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Mörchnerkar, Finkenberg, Schwaz District, Tyrol, Austria
Class:
Single Crystal
Size Range:
Small cabinet (7-10 cm)
Size:
7.2 × 7.2 × 5.8 cm
Description

This is a very uncommon adularia floater from this famous locality. It is a skeltal crystal, which consists of uncountable sharp steps and faces, which are all sharp terminated. The crystal is well developed all around and all these sn+mall faces are very glossy. The crystal shows a very good translucency, although the brownish inclusions nearly like "moon-stone" quality. The skeletal habit and the dimension are exceptional. I have to note, that photos doesn´t do justice to the specimen, really much better in person. Undamaged.
