Famouse Austrian classic! Alpine clefts are rare, most regions are nature parks now - diiging is prohibited in most regions. So today it is very difficult to discover a cleft in Alps - and Amethyste are an exceptional rarity. Ziller valley is one of the most prominenet localities of Austria, but also here - good discoveries are decades ago. The particular sample is typically for the locality - sharp, but multiple steppes faces with so called "windows". Specimen show zepter habit and light violet color.
