Calcite Phillipsite & Natrolite

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Höwenegg Quarry, Immendingen, Tuttlingen, Freiburg Region, Baden-Württemberg, Germany
Size Range:
Cabinet (10-18 cm)
Size:
11.2 × 10.9 × 5.5 cm
Description

An outstanding rarity, great combination of minerals, all in fine condition. The locality is defunct, the old quarry is non-productive and partly filled with water. Material is very hard to obtain.

The label states golden fluorite - but we can be certain that the golden mineral is correctly identified as calcite.

No significant damage to report.
