Description

An old-time specimen of rich cobalt ore consisting mainly of fine grained cobaltite, some traces of chalcopyrite and secondary erythrite.

It comes with an old heavily damaged A.Krantz label from just after the move of his shop from Berlin to Bonn. So it must be from sometime just after 1850. There are several old names for this mineral specimen on the label but in consists definitively of cobaltite.
