Description

A superb, an extreamely rare specimen of  glassy lustrous phlogopite mica, host on calcite-marble matrix  from a famed legendary locality Koksha Valley, Badakhshan, Afghanistan. Black tiny pyrite can be seen throughout the matrix.

The phlogopite crystals and the matrix  both are  highly fluorescence under both LW / SW, the phlogopite crystals exhbit bright orange colour & the matrix itself change to magenta colour.

This unique  specimen has been got  from a parcel of more than 50 unfluorescence specimens.

A very true high quality specimen.
