Description

A lovely example of interlocking bladed grey glauberite crystals from this small salt lake in the mid north of South Australia. Usually these specimens develop a white alteration coating of gypsum after removal from the lake's mud, but this piece has remained quite stable.

The crystals are quite translucent and there is no damage. Very nice for the locality and species.
