Description

North Flinders Ranges, Flinders Ranges, South Australia, Australia

Small miniature (3-4.5 cm)
Size:
4 × 3.5 × 3.1 cm
Description

Small bladed crystals of hematite (or ilmenite?) form intimately with micro pink albite feldspar crystals and there are also very small apple green bunches of what is probably clinochlore?

An interesting piece, probably from the Dinnertime Hill area of ancient volcanics, that is best viewed with magnification.
