Description

Extremely rare microcrystals of the relatively new mineral (2003) lafossaite, a thallium chloride-bromide of exotic chemistry. Bromine and thallium minerals are very rare in nature, this one has the two elements in the same mineral !. Of the more than 4800 minerals known, only 18 have bromine in its composition ! Only known from two localities worldwide, being La Fossa Crater the type locality, and by far the locality where the best crystals are found. Note.- Shipping costs are intended for Certified Mail.
