Description

Rare Calcium-Aluminium- Hydroxylcarbonate mineral Kochsandorite from the Type and the only known locality. It forms white, radiating aggregates in coal bearing marl matrix. The matrix is solid although there are some cracks on it. The mineral was discovered in 2004 and this is the only known locality so far. In 2005 the mine was closed, the dumps were recultivated, so no chance to find any new pieces.
