Description

A rich and fine combination specimen of the very rare germanium sulfosalt species renierite and germanite from the Tsumeb Mine. A rich vein of lustrous, bronze-colored renierite is displayed on two faces of the solid matrix of gray, metallic-lustre germanite. Portions of the germanite ore have a colorful purple-green-blue iridescence. Tsumeb is the Type Locality for germanite. From the 29 Level of this world-famous mine.
