Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Rotläufchen Mine, Waldgirmes, Lahnau, Lahn-Dill, Giessen Region, Hesse, Germany
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
6 × 3.7 × 2.1 cm
Description

Very good, free-standing oxiberaunite (very rare!) and a couple of other mineral species, labeled as 'cacoxenite' and 'laubmannite'. Well, I'm not sure about the yellow micro-crystals, but they don't look like cacoxenite to me. And I'd better go for kidwellite &/or rockbridgeite instead of laubmannite for the green crystal balls. In any case, a very interesting, classical specimen with original label (see provenance).
