Description

An excellent sample of derriksite, a rare copper-uranyl-selenite named after Belgian geologist Jean Marie Francois Derriks (1912-1993). This sample from the Type locality has a very rich coverage of hundreds of small well-formed dark green crystals of derriksite on matrix associated with olive-green demesmaekerite crystals.
An excellent specimen, almost impossible to find in this quality nowadays.
