Description

Very rare, large, undamaged sphalerite crystal on sphalerite matrix. The sphalerite is nearly black with lustrous faces with a slightly striped structure. Golden shiny pyrite and small gray quartzes cover a large part of the specimen. This piece was bought in Linz (Austria) in 1979 and comes from the collection of Albert Strasser. A very fine and impressive old specimen from this classic locality!
