Description

Apatite in massive calcite matrix from Baikal Region, Russia.

Many grey-green apatite crystals are clustered in the colorful calcite.

Some are ended - some are cut.

The main thick crystal (3.5 x 1.7 cm) is well separated on the matrix and in good condition. Beneath is another big apatite (size 4.5 cm) which is ended, but a part of the crystal is missing (see photos).

All in all a nice specimen because of the large crystals.
