Back on the old e-Rocks, in January we introduced our first "spin presentation" for minerals displayed online.
The concept is quite simple - you set up a camera and synchronise the stepped revolution of a turntable with the camera shutter to take a series of images of the item as it stops at each point in the revolution.
Software is then used to display the photographs in a sequential revolving slide show.
As part of the development of new e-Rocks we now have integrated our "spins" into our main image display.
You can see how this looks via the two examples listed below, and now we have begun adding spins to our regular listings.
